Yizkor, in Hebrew, means “remember,” and each year at the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur, we remember our departed family members and loved ones and recite prayers in their memory. Donations made in the departed's memory help raise the neshama, while receiving the merit of giving tzedakah.
